PDF Tuner is designed to optimize and prepare PDF files on your device. This policy describes the App’s data practices.
1. Local PDF processing
When you add, preview, optimize, or export a PDF, PDF Tuner processes that file locally on your device. The App does not upload PDF files, extracted content, annotations, or output files to our servers or to third-party services, and it does not share them with other users.
2. Information we do not collect
The App does not create user accounts and does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting services. We do not collect, sell, rent, or share personal information or the contents of your PDF files.
3. Information stored on your device
To provide its features, the App may store settings, recent-file references, selected options, and, on macOS, security-scoped folder bookmarks. If you purchase Pro, the App may also store a local purchase-unlock status and StoreKit transaction references. This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to us by the App.
4. In-App Purchase
Pro is a one-time purchase handled by Apple’s App Store and StoreKit. Apple processes payment and purchase restoration under Apple’s own privacy policy. PDF Tuner does not receive or store payment-card details.
5. Retention and deletion
Local settings and history remain on your device until you clear or remove the App’s local data. PDF files and exported files remain in the locations you choose, and you control their removal.
6. External links
If you choose to open a website or send an email from the App, that destination is outside PDF Tuner and its own privacy terms apply.
7. Changes to this policy
If the App’s data practices change, this policy will be updated with a future version of the App.
